This site is dedicated to the memory of Liz.
Liz was born in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire on May 16, 1947. She was a supportive wife to John, encouraging mum to Sarah, Alex and Georgie and a loving grandma to her six grandchildren: Charlotte, Lauren, Keira, Ollie, Harry and Josh.
Liz peacefully passed away on the 4th July 2015 at the Duchess of Kent Hospice aged 68, following a short stay at the end of her brave fight against oesophageal cancer. It was during this stay that we realised the vital importance that this centre plays. The care that Liz received was second to none with all of the staff taking time and effort to ensure that, not only was Liz settled and comfortable, but that we, as her family, were looked after and supported; the hospice itself was well equipped with a homely atmosphere. It is with this amazing service in mind that we would ask you to donate to the Sue Ryder charity to help ensure that other families can benefit as we have into the future.
